Rural students

If you live in a rural or remote area on Australia, there are several schemes to encourage you to study medicine:

1. Most of the medical schools have different eligibility criteria for rural students such that they require a lower score for entry. Details will be available on the websites listed above for each medical school.
2. The government, both state and federal, offer scholarships and other financial incentives.
